WOW ED - that was a VERY INTERESTING Blog post! NICE!!!
I'm curious. The image at the top, with all the tubes - based upon the imperfections at the tops of the tubes, and the little wisps of plastic - it HAS to be a pic of a bunch of tubes that were all 3D Printed! Am I right??
But - back on topic...
I agree with you on ALL you stated - as a LOT of that is EXACTLY what I have been experiencing. Having AI find a fix to problems - at times - is Great - and a BIG Time saver. Your reference to “vibe coding” - a term I had Never heard of before - is a VERY Interesting term and VERY Relatable for me. Since, yeah - lately I've been producing C# - with literally really no C# background. And, at times Claude has done a TRULY Bang up job of it!!!
As I began to write this reply, I stopped and had a convo with my coworker about this call from a user. But, then we went on a tangent - and I told him about your Blog posting - and we then had another AI chat. I warned him that I would be sending your Blog posting to the whole IT Team here.
Heck - when I see something Well Written - and interesting - I do indeed like to spread the word!!!
Now, last comment - and it's Off-topic, of this thread about AI - but, on topic about writing. For those of you who are avid readers and like to read Ficition - a buddy of mine from Essentium (which was my Dream Job at a 3D Printing co. - a co. That No Longer Exists) - he wrote a fiction story - and it's a rather entertaining read. So - in case anyone is interested - this is it: https://www.amazon.com/Show-Yourself-Shane-Pollard/dp/B0F9SDW17T/ref=cm_cr_a...

The problems over the last couple of days with restoring the messages that were missing weren't as simple as I imagined they would have been to solve. Getting the messages was straightforward enough (thanks to everyone who helped!), but getting them into the database was more involved than I imagined. The difficulty was the result of one post by a certain member who shall remain nameless (hint: his initials are RK!). Fortunately I got the solution by consulting with Perplexity AI, and it inspired me to write a blog post:
