First thing I would try is set resource off. You can setup an FPW config file that gives you a minimal environment.

I'm running VFP 9.0 sp2. When I try to modify a project, unselected tabs for "All", "Data", "Documents", "Classes", "Code", and "Other" appear. When I click on one of the tabs the appropriate items display but I don't have the buttons on the right that let me manage the components and compile the code. I have exited and reopened VFP multiple times with no change. How do I get my buttons back?
