Tracy, no I didn't. It just stopped working one day and the only thing I recall is the Windows Update but I figured it was strange that that would cause it.

Did you recently change the user that runs VFP (Run as Administrator)? By default the administrator user doesn't see the mappings of the logged in user.

VFP's file permissions have changed with the update. You will have to grant file create, modify and delete to VFP and your application.

For years I have been able to copy files to another computer by using a command like this from VFP's Command Window: "copy file my.exe to y:\folder". After I received a Windows Update a few months ago, it no longer works. I get the error "cannot create file". It's not a huge problem because I can use File Explorer to copy/paste the file, but it saves a step.
Just wondering what the Windows Update may have changed? I'm using Windows 10 Home and VFP9.
