Is there any reason why a fox pro app using DBF's would be significantly slower on a machine using a SSD drive? Windows 10 and Append General

So I have used this approach for 20 years and it has always worked My client prepares an invoice using Word The file is "INV"+alltrim(str(invnum))+".DOC" E.g. INV12345.DOC The system says append general rtfgen from &newfile LINK It is then easy to print this on the report It seems this no longer works with Win10 My thoughts at this time are to no longer store the data in a General field, and to print the DOC file as part of the report. BUT, I can't figure how to do that. Hi Tracy, Data stored in DBFs is most likely the limiting factor. Possible scenarios are: 1. switch to SQL, then rewrite into a new environment later 2. rewrite into a new environment, bring the use of DBFs into the new environment (perhaps not supported) 3. rewrite into new environment, converting data to SQL (or whatever) at the same time as the new environment goes live It seems that #3 would be the best, but probably requires the most resource and is the most risky. FoxBin2Prg conversion error question

Hi Fernando, Since I know you've been hanging around here in ProFox I thought I'd post my question here. If there's a better place, please let me know. :) I've got a VCX that is generating errors when I run it through FB2P. It's indicating there are duplicate objects in the VCX and does not generate the VC2 file. (See log example below.) I have used the cleanup option in the class browser but it hasn't helped. I've also USEd the VCX and run both PACK and PACK MEMO.
