HotTracking Button in a PageFrame

Hello, I have a button on a page in a pageframe. The button is in a CommandGroup. The button has an image and text on it. When this button is clicked, it changes the ActivePage of the pageframe. When nothing is visible in the location on the new page, the text and image remain. When the mouse is hovering the button, and the space bar is pressed, the text and image appear after moving the mouse. This happens if there is something over the button or not. Has anyone noted this behavior? Does anyone have a workaround? Thank you, Tracy

Modify Project from Config.FPW

I know you are probably tired of hearing from me on this stuff, but I'm still working out the issues with my ProjectSetup.exe tool that I described last week that creates a shortcut and a .FPW file for my projects so I can run multiple instances of VFP for multiple projects at the same time. I've reworked the .FPW file command order so it now looks like this: **************************************************************************** ***** TMPFILES=c:\temp EDITWORK=c:\temp SORTWORK=c:\temp PROGWORK=c:\temp PATH = .\DATA; .\FORMS; .\GRAPHICS; .\LIBS; .\MENUS; .\PROGRAMS; .\REPORTS; T:\LIBRARY DEFAULT = "T:\DATAWORKS\ACTIVE\TP\FORMAL\" RESOURCE = "T:\DATAWORKS\ACTIVE\TP \FORMAL\FOXUSER.DBF" COMMAND = MODIFY PROJECT "T:\DATAWORKS\ACTIVE\TP \FORMAL\TRNSLATE.PJX" NOWAIT **************************************************************************** ***** However, the NOWAIT option appears to have no effect because once VFP opens, the project manager shows my project it but there is also open a command window with nothing in it and I cannot type in the command window until I close it and re-open the command window. It's like once VFP starts with COMMAND = MODIFY PROJECT "T:\DATAWORKS\ACTIVE\TP \FORMAL\TRNSLATE.PJX" it stays focused on the project manager until I close the command window and restart it. Then it works normally. It's almost like there's a READ EVENTS statement that is active until I close the blank command window. FYI, I've also tried this by modifying the FPW file to read COMMAND = DO PROJSTART.PRG, , but it does exact the same thing even if I include the NOWAIT option on the Modify Project line. It's not a big deal, I can close the command window and re-open it but it annoys me that the NOWAIT option is there and by the documentation, it should solve the problem I'm seeing. frx to html conversion

Is anyone aware of a utility that will take a vfp8 report .frx / .frt and convert it into some form of html template? To clarify, I am not looking to run a vfp report and have it output in html. We need to take a number of fairly simple reports and permanently move them to html. I expect to have to do some editing to clean them up. The application currently outputs pdfs from frx and they are presented on the web. However, to better support i18n the database is moving to Postgres, and the code to JS, that leaves a problem with the reports. Hello: I have found a bug. Whether it is in VFP 9 SP 2 or in the VFP 9 documentation (Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9 SP2 Help file, VFPX Edition v1.07) is a toss-up. Supposedly, the fourth and fifth parameters to inputbox() can be omitted. What I found is that if the sixth parameter is specified, the fourth and fifth parameters can not be omitted. Thor Tools and buffer overrun when trying to add a new method to a form class

Hi all Well the subject line says it all really. I always run Do C:\Users\pnewton\Downloads\Thor\Thor.APP at startup. When a try to add a new method to an existing form class I get the buffer overrun - only two of my form classes seem to exhibit the problem and they have the same parent class. Adding a new method to the parent class works fine. BUT if I do not run Thor.App then I can add a new method to the two form classes without a problem. I would appreciate any insights into this bizarre problem Paul Newton
