Resetting VFP

Hello: Sometimes, the coding is a breeze, and sometimes, it is not. Suppose, because of bugs, incomplete functionality, etc., you have just hung up VFP. Is there a way to reset VFP? Something that always works? I know I can abort it and then restart it, but I have had to do so dozens of times. The thrill palls. Sincerely, Gene Wirchenko

I call SQL stored procedures, sending just a string containing parameters, frequently. Hi all There is a document in Ed's download area giving concordances between VFP(6) and VB6. I am looking for something similar showing concordances between VFP and TSQL. Has anybody come across such an animal? Many thanks Paul Newton

ODBC or OLEDB to Oracle - Resources?

I have been able to ODBC to an Oracle 11g database in the past for a previous client but I've picked up a new client who is also on Oracle 11g and I'm having a devil of a time to get the ODBC connection string working either from within Foxpro or even from ODBC32.exe Interestingly I'm using EMS's Oracle Manager software and it connects fine and returns queried data perfectly well. But no joy trying to connect directly with ODBC. I'm going to try uninstalling my Oracle ODBC drivers and install the latest version of the drivers to see if that changes anything and if that fails I need to investigate using OLEDB. However, I have not been working OLEDB and am not sure how to proceed with that option. So here's my question: Does anyone have any advice about connecting with ODBC to Oracle or do you have any resources you can point me to regarding using OLEDB to connect to Oracle. Thanks in advance! Hi all I would like an application to be able to trap a keypress with more than one "modifier", for example CTRL+ALT+S. Obviously I can't do this with ON KEY LABEL but I wondered if there might be another way ... any ideas much appreciated Many thanks Paul Newton
