Wouldn't you think you could click on the name and send some sort of communication? Ugh...Am I looking at this wrong?

MCP ID

Current Corporate gig is asking for anyone with MCP status to provide their MCP ID, regardless of its status. I got my MCP for both desktop and distributed systems years ago, but I can't recall what the ID was. Do other MCPs here know their ID? I'm wondering if they even had IDs way back when (it was 2002 when I got it).

FoxCharts pie question

Here's a screenshot of what I've manually done in Excel: https://www.screencast.com/t/iTHjVOSd2mD I want to create the labels of the pie to have the name too (not just the total number or percentage for that section). Anyone done that before? The demos in the Foxcharts sample app don't show the labels with #s. (And I'm talking static text, not tooltiptext, as this is for printed reports.) tia, --Mike

VFP9SP2 using FoxCharts (1.37 and 1.46beta) I've got FoxCharts working somewhat in my testing so far, but I can't get the first showing page to fully resize automatically and some trickery I've tried is driving me nuts. A client is willing to pay for it for me to start to do some PHP for for them, and I tend to learn more quickly with a structured lesson plan. [NF] Server OS in a VM on a client OS box

Hi, all! I need some advice as to whether or not this will work. Our company runs shipping software (ProShip Server) on a Windows Server 2008 (not R2) computer. Unfortunately, the system requirements for this software have been recently upgraded, so that I need a 2012, 2012 R2, or 2016 server instead. As getting a new server would take several weeks to order and provision, I am wondering if I can install one of these server versions as a virtual machine on a spare Windows 7 machine that I already have. I've never tried this on a production server. Will it work? Are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance. Mike

I see your odd occurrence and raise with my own: The last message in the archive before your posts is dated the 9th. I have two messages posted by Vince Teachout that are dated the 10th. This is not an actual reply to an email thread; I've only been able to see the messages with this Subject line in the archives. So I didn't get my own message, or Paul's reply to it. I am no email guru, but I have observed that messages may be rejected by some email systems if the physical domain host is not the same as the physical email server host, but both hosts use the same domain name, and there is no reference to the correct email host in the SPF record for the domain host. Not all email systems have SPF rejection enabled. If they do, they probably should issue a bounce explaining what they did. Just a thought.... Ken Dibble www.stic-cil.org
