GDIPlusX GetHue() and GetBrightness()

Hi all When I try this: loColor = _Screen.System.Drawing.Color.DarkGray ? loColor.GetHue() ? loColor.GetSaturation() ? loColor.GetBrightness() The result is ******************* (numeric overflow) 0 38174 A similar problem exists with other colours where R=G=B Any ideas? M$ 365 Defender

From what I can see it is a souped-up version of Defender only available to Enterprise clients or on payment of $5 per month - is this correct? GDIPlus - Resize

Hi all I have a form with an ImageCanvas (oImgCanvas) with a Bitmap (oBMP). The size is 256x256. I want to resize the image to 140x180 and save it to file as a BMP. I can't resize oImgCanvas or oBMP (they don't seem to have a Resize method), so I am not sure how to go about this. Any help will be much appreciated. [NF] Monitor woes

Hi all I have just taken delivery of a 20" monitor which the vendor assured me has a resolution of 1920x1080. It doesn't, its native resolution is 1600x900. I have identified another Viewsonic monitor from a different vendor which definitely has a 1920x1080 resolution but it only has a D-sub connector. Is this something I should be concerned about (I know that I can get a D-sub to HDMI or D-sub to DisplayPort cable). Legacy app using wwipstuff.dll fails sending Office365 email

Hi, folks: An ancient legacy app (soon to be mothballed) has been using wwipstuff.dll to send email through outlook.com since at least 2013 or so. Once in a blue moon we've needed to tweak parameters but nothing for around 5 years. I used BLAT to debug and get all the parameters set up correctly. Today, trying to get t to work, I get the error: <<<getline<<< 354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> <<<getline<<< 550 5.7.64 TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied [BN1NAM02FT037.eop-nam02.prod.protection.outlook.com] Message not accepted by server >>>putline> This looks like some new requirement by outlook. A quick web search yields: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/email-delivery/relay… which talks about using certificates (doubtful) or a fallback IP address mode, which I don't remember having to walk them through before. Anybody ran into this and know a quick fix?

[NF] VGA/DVI to HDMI

Hi I have a monitor with VGA and DVI outputs which I want to connect to the HDMI port on my laptop, I know I can get adapters for both VGA-HDMI and DVI-HDMI but would one be better or preferable to the other? Problem setting ActiveX control property (Folderview and Fileview controls)

Hi It's a few years old now, but I have the Sky Software Shell Megapack suite (V8) which contains the two (ActiveX) controls above as well as a drive combo control. I have used these successfully in the past but have run into a problem. The Fileview control has a Public Read-Write Property ColumnWidth which, according to the help file, "Gets/Sets the width of the column in pixels". The VB syntax in the help is: Public Property ColumnWidth(ByVal ColumnName As String, ByVal ColumnIndex As Long) As Long ? MyFileView.ColumnWidth("Name",0) and ? MyFileView.Object.ColumnWidth("Name",0) both work fine and return 120. Trying to set the column width as follows MyFileView.ColumnWidth("Name",0) = 240 gives "Function argument value, type or count is invalid" and MyFileView.Object.ColumnWidth("Name",0) = 240 gives "Syntax error" Am I missing something (I have checked and there is no method or event on the control which references ColumnWidth). Alternatively, can anybody suggest affordable (aka cheap, preferably free) alternatives to these controls which are designed to closely mimic the behaviour of Windows Explorer? Form design Properties window - Enumerated properties

Hi all A native ActiveX control (i.e. not in a VB wrapper) has an enumerated property ViewType. If I add the control to a form in VB, the property sheet has a dropdown list of the allowed values as follows: 0 - Value one 1 - Value two etc. If I add the control to a VFP form, the property sheet shows the allowed values but without their descriptions. Is there a way to get VFP to show the values and their descriptions (like VFP does for the Alignment property)? Unfortunately, I suspect not but might it be possible to get this working using a wrapper? Again, I suspect not :( - but maybe somebody can come up with something ...
