looking for a multi-user alternative to view gmail emails

looking for a multi-user alternative (to MS Exchange) to view gmail emails For more than 10 years I have been using a gmail account for users to send support questions. I had that gmail account linked (somehow) to MS Exchange hosted by Rackspace. This was recommended by someone on this list. It has been working for >10 years and I have long-since forgotten how I set all that stuff up. Now Rackspace no longer supports Exchange 2007 and the Outlook 2007 client that we use to access exchange and see the emails that came into gmail. Hope that makes sense. I think it should be simple to have imap and/or POP in the gmail account activated (which it/they is/areprofox(a)leafe.com) It seems like Exchange should be able to 'poll' the gmail server and download the email (hope that makes sense). Somehow the people at Rackspace don't know what I am talking about?? the support person today says I need to set up MX records in gmail so gmail will send to exchange? that does not make any sense to me. I admit that I may not be the youngest person on this list, but I am still alive and I love VFP and most of the support issues. Anyone out there know what I am missing? New Job & The Silence is Killing Me...

Wow - seems like in the past month or so - its gotten VERY Quiet around here!!! Seems an oddity occured - and I started getting these ProFox emails again to my main email addy. So - just noticed this recently... And - for those that follow my Meanderings thru this thing we call life - I was last working Tech support at Northrop-Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA - and was there for like 1 year and 2 months. Well - I know moved onto a New Gig - which may be my true DREAM JOB - as its a 3D Printing co. in Irvine - building Big and Hi-Tech and FAST 3D Printers! So - its VERY Cool indeed!!! For those interest: Essentium.com -Kurt P.S. OK - my bad - after I started to write this I realized I should probably tag this as NF - although I DID start with a Q re: Quiet ProFox list...

Printing PDF's

Hi All We are currently printing some PDF content using the shell print function that just triggers the default application for opening PDF's to do its stuff. We have a lot of A5 content which needs to printed to fit A4 paper, is there another method I could use that would give us this control. Time variables

I want to build a cursor of time fields for export to Excel. The DateTime format allows a simple for next loop to increment the time value by a specified number of seconds. Is there a function that allows the extraction of the time portion of a DateTime variable as a time value not as a string? It seems one could pull out the hours and minutes as characters and convert them to time via CTOT but this results in a DateTime result with an embedded date. Help or Opinions on GKKTools / VFP-Editors from ggreen86 from VFPX on github

Hi everyone, I've recently been working in Visual Foxpro again and while looking around to see if I can improve my workflow I ran across the VFP-Editors and wanted to try them out. I am not exactly sure where to put the files though and what kind of setup needs to be done. I looked at the Editors zip and the Support Files zip but it is not clear to me how to get up and running. Do any of you use these tools, and if so, do you recommend them and/or know how to get them working? Are you guys with active FoxPro projects using anything else for editing or is the best solution to still use the VFP IDE for everything? VFP seems to work pretty well on my Windows 10 Desktop but I can't seem to get things the right size on my laptop. I think it may have something to do with my laptop having a fancy screen with a high dpi. In my perfect world, I think I would use vs code to do all my editing and build with VFP but I do not think that is really possible is it? VFP Label Height changes

Maybe someone can tell me why this happens occasionally. I have a base label (cLabel) in class library A. I have a container (cNavButton) containing cLabel in class library B. I have another container (cNavGroup) that will contain cNavButton also in class library B. There is a form (frm1 (based on cForm in class library A)) that has the cNavGroup and 5 cNavButtons in it. cLabel has a height set to 19. cNavButton.cLabel is default The cNavGroup.cNavButton.cLabel.Height in frm1 all show they are still default (19). Yet I have placed code in the Init event of cLabel to display the Height onto the screen and I get 17. VFP can be so random sometimes. My hack to get around this behavior: in cNavButton, I have placed code in cLabel.Init to see if the height is < 19 and reset the height to default.
