Reports and Insufficient GDI resources (Error 2203)

Hello, Has anyone run into this error with reports: Insufficient GDI resources (Error 2203) This past week all of a sudden multiple customers are receiving this error. I looked it up and found a windows registry key to set the GDI resources from the default 10000 to 30000 and that resolves the error. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\ GDIProcessHandleQuota from 10000 to 30000 However, why would it just all of a sudden start doing this? I support two different ERP Systems written in Visual Foxpro 9sp2 and both are getting it on large print jobs that used to (prior to this past week) work just fine. Thank you, Philip B Vicksburg, MI

[NF] New hardware - network port and HDD

Hi all Please note my change of address - as a result of recently being made redundant. I have recently taken delivery of an HP Omen 17" laptop. I am used to having an ethernet port which accepts what I would call a standard Cat5 plug but the port on the new laptop does not accept that plug which is obviously too big. The manual describes the port as RJ-45 (network) jack. What would I need in order to connect my Cat5 plug into the RJ-45 socket? The new laptop has a 512GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. The only info I have about the 1TB drive is that it is 7200rpm. Can I simply replace it with a 4TB model running at 5400RPM? The new HDD (WD Red 3.5" Internal Hard Drive) has a - SATA III 6 Gb/s interface. Would I need to check that for compatibility? Those thick HDs are normally for Server usage. Just screw around 😊 and look for the HD enclosure. Also I wouldn't go with a mechanical HD in a Laptop anymore. Samsung has already 1, 2 and 4 TB SSDs. Grid with an centered image

Hello everyone, I am wanting to add an image to a column in a grid and it be centered. Using the image control directly leaves the image in the upper left. (0 - Clip) Allowing the image to grow causes pixilation. (1 - Isometric, 2 - Stretch) I have placed the image in a button that this does the trick. It adds another problem that needs to be taken care of. The product uses the HighlightStyle 2 - Current row highlighting enabled with visual persistence. The CommandButton doesn't have a setting to be transparent. What options might I have to have the color come through around a centered image to have the highlight color set as the background color of the button for the current selected row Thank you, Tracy

VFP 9 SP2 3 Hot Fix descriptions

Folks, I know that the main point of the VFP 9 SP2 hot fixes was to fix a new report grouping bug. That's fine and dandy. What about the other two? I believe one of them pertained to data sessions and perhaps settings in one showing in another DS...that's the one I'm curious about. Any posted information on these? Citrix issue or network issue?

Folks, I'm working on a VFP 9 app that is having issues with Citrix. Or at least that is their explanation. This client upgraded both Citrix and their Windows 2003 Server to something like Windows 2008 or 2012, I don't remember at the moment. Anyway, they're getting random errors in code that's perfectly solid - something as simple at this: USE <whatever VFP .DBF table> BROWSE ...and the Browse will throw an error of "Table not open." on rare occasion. MYSQL connection

I have been using SQL Server Express for years, both on local PC's and the cloud. I am now considering using MYSQL for a new cloud app. I downloaded and installed the MySQL Workbench and can connect to the cloud MYSQL database, directly from the WorkBench. However, I was not successful in connecting to the cloud (or the local host for that matter) from VFP Do I need to download and install an ODBC driver for this? If so,which driver?
