looking for a multi-user alternative to view gmail emails

looking for a multi-user alternative (to MS Exchange) to view gmail emails For more than 10 years I have been using a gmail account for users to send support questions. I had that gmail account linked (somehow) to MS Exchange hosted by Rackspace. This was recommended by someone on this list. It has been working for >10 years and I have long-since forgotten how I set all that stuff up. Now Rackspace no longer supports Exchange 2007 and the Outlook 2007 client that we use to access exchange and see the emails that came into gmail. Hope that makes sense. I think it should be simple to have imap and/or POP in the gmail account activated (which it/they is/areprofox(a)leafe.com) It seems like Exchange should be able to 'poll' the gmail server and download the email (hope that makes sense). Somehow the people at Rackspace don't know what I am talking about?? the support person today says I need to set up MX records in gmail so gmail will send to exchange? that does not make any sense to me. I admit that I may not be the youngest person on this list, but I am still alive and I love VFP and most of the support issues. Anyone out there know what I am missing? Slow performance after moving to VM

Hi All Has anyone got any suggestions as to where the problem maybe in the following scenario. We have a VFP application, using DBC/DBF's on a windows server, it has been running fine and quick for years. Various windows clients (all now Windows 10). The server was a physical server but has now been replaced with a virtual machine hosted on a HyperV machine on premises. Most of the 20 clients are still running fine, but a handful (3 identified) at the moment are running really slow, they are only running slow in the VFP application any other use of the server like copying files runs fine. They also seem to be the better spec'd machines out of the 20. Nothing has changed on the client pc's other than the unc path where the application is looking for the data. Any suggestions? [NF] Help with LastPass

Hi all I think it was Ed who first brought LastPass to my/our attention. I have never looked back, so, thanks Ed I have a login page which requires a Customer Number and a Surname or Postcode (in my vase it will be my surname). How can I set up LastPass to save and autofill this login page? And any advice on setting up and using Form Fields in LastPass would also be very helpful. Combining PDFs for printing multiple images on a sheet

I have G-code that produces PDF images of labeled charts one chart per day. I want to combine seven daily charts into a weekly sheet that will be printed from Acrobat Reader. As near as I can tell there is no straightforward code in the Google scripting world to combine multiple pdfs into a single one. I thought things would be easier if I switched to VFP to do the combining but have not found suitable code there either. Another approach would be to manage printing the PDFs by specifying where on the page each file should print. I suspect this would be possible using HTML but have no experience with that. Matt Slay

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to share the news that Matt Slay has passed away from COVID-19 earlier today. You may recognize Matt for his many contributions to the Fox Community on VFPX with the next generation of GoFish, DynamicForms, assisting Jim Nelson and Doug Hennig with the development and testing of Thor, inspiring the Go To Definition feature in Thor, and the VFP language template for VS Code, just to name a few of his contributions. Matt also inspired other developers to create things for our community when he was not tackling them himself. He was very good at twisting arms of fellow Visual FoxPro developers to get other things contributed. Matt leaves behind his wife Sharon and two teenage sons. If you're able to speak Python, you could as well take a look at www.Lianja.com, which is basically VFP11 with Python, PHP, JavaScript and TypeScript compilers added. Uses the VFP object-model including its Container-Hierarchy and classes. Can use any database (besides of it's own SQLServer), generates classic Desktop apps for Win, Mac and Linux. Creates Mobile Apps.
