Desktop Alerts

Hi all I just downloaded Kevin Ragsdale's Desktop Alerts from GitHub but when I try to build the EXE I am getting Function argument value, type, or count is invalid. I can rebuild the project without it giving any errors. Running VFP9 SP2 (7423) on Windows 10 2004. I have a version of Desktop Alerts which I downloaded years ago and that version builds without error. I will welcome any suggestions. Thanks. Paul Newton

Virtual Fox Fest 2020: Follow-up

Be sure to subscribe to our channel. If you want materials (white papers and sample code) for the presentations, go to https://geekgatherings.com/Registration and "register" for the conference. You're not really registering since it's over, but in the Registration Fees section of the registration page, you'll see "Virtual Fox Fest 2020 Session Materials (download)". The cost of the materials is $49. There's also an opportunity to sponsor Virtual Fox Fest, which means your name will be listed on our Sponsors page (https://virtualfoxfest.com/sponsors.aspx) We're planning on doing a survey soon. Error when running report

Hi all I am running some tests with XFRX and I am trying to run a simple report Report Form SQSLACL Preview And I am getting a message box with the following: Class to handle scripting during report generation is not available. Report run may not provide expected dynamic behavior. Does anybody know what might be causing this? Thanks. Paul Newton

Bookmarks in XFRX report previewer

Hi all I have recently downloaded the latest version of XFRX (19.1) and I am trying for the first time to implement bookmarks in the previewer. I have a simple report (no groups) with a detail section which contains several lines for each account - something like this (AccountRef etc correspond to field names in the underlying table/cursor) AccountRef AccountName AccAddress1 AccAddress2 I know that I have to use comment fields in the report designer with expressions like #UR ....... (let's call them directives) I want the bookmarks to appear as the account name, but two different AccountRefs could possibly have the same AccountName. Should I put the directive in the AccountRef comment or the AccountName comment and what exactly should the directive be? I am thinking that the directive should be in the AccountRef field but that should display AccountName as the bookmark. Or am I barking up the wrong tree? I have tried this in the AccountRef field on the report #UR OUTLINE=AccountName but that is not working. The bookmarks pane is there but there are no bookmarks displayed. Perhaps I need more than the one directive? Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. Paul Newton
