Hey Ken, you can move a folder using drag and drop if you hold down the Ctrl key while dragging and dropping. I have known experienced users to do this by mistake. I've even done it a couple times, thankfully I realised quite quickly that I had moved the wrong folder. Frank. Hi Folks, I'm asking you guys about this because, frankly, it's the only group of people I have to ask questions. :) I'm hoping that one of you can suggest something based on a deeper understanding of Windows than I have. Some weeks ago what I *thought* was a _copy_ of somebody's entire "My Documents" folder appeared in a network share that is only used for my Foxpro database system. Since I have people accidentally, and apparently unknowingly, dragging and dropping folders from where they should be to where they shouldn't all the time here--in some cases moving enough data to cause a Windows file copy/move dialog to appear, and stay visible for quite some time--my assumption is that is what happened in this case. However, there are some points in this case that are confounding: 1. The user is not a typical computer illiterate. I did not expect him to be capable of such a mistake. 2. [NF] Update on X# progress regarding VFP

Good day ProFoxers, Just an update regarding X#. It was initially expected to have a public release of X# around 19 July. We have however through user testing of RC2 found some issues and on 18 July a RC3 version fixing issues was released to paid members. Due to holidays and much needed rest, the DevTeam have therefore postponed the Bandol GA public release to middle August, which will only include bug fixes found in the RC3 release. It is still planned to have full VFP support by October in time for swfox http://swfox.net/sponsors.aspx Robert the brain behind X# and Fabrice Foray (Visual Studio integration) will be present at this event. Two Silver sponsor sessions are allocated and if there are enough interest, a post conference session will be held the Sunday after closing of the event. Hope this is of interest. I moved this to OT since it really isn't FP related.... Like you, Paul's initial email re Event Viewer icons also didn't get to my inbox either, just the replies. I wonder if there is a black list somewhere that isn't well monitored - and that some of us somehow got on it. Any ideas how we might track that down? You mess with the Windows Display properties until you get what you want. There are a lot of options, especially in the Assistive panels for the visually impaired. If you have special software from your video card vendor, that may may give you more flexibility to set up things the way you want. Without telling us any specifics, you are only going to get generalized answers.
