FoxBin2Prg Form.Property = "" becomes .F.

I have just recently started to use FoxBin2Prg to store my VCX and SCX files as text versions in Git. Some of my forms have properties set to a have nothing in it. VFP displays this as "(none)". When I use FoxBin2Prg to put this particular form in to the SC2 form, the back to the SCX form this property becomes a .F. Just putting this out there for those that might use this tool. Tracy

Just to be clear: There are TWO versions of VFPA ("A" like the Hex notation of "10") a) the patched version of your existing VFP9 installation. This implies that it's stil a 23Bit version. This is the version you most probably want to use immediately. Download the 32Bit on the bottom of: http://baiyujia.com/vfpadvanced/f_vfpa_about.asp It needs a current VFP9 installation with SP2, and then creates a new directory with a patched new VFP9.exe and also copies all of the other files of your VFP9 source directory. Thus, after installation you just rename the old VFP9 directory to something different, and rename the new directory to the original name, and all your Registrykeys and Links will work without interruption. b) a new VFP10 err... VFPA compiler for 64 bit executables. 'Twas the night before crisis, and all through the house, Not a program was working, not even a browse. The programmers were wrung out, too mindless to care, Knowing chances of shipping hadn't a prayer. The users were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of inquiries danced in their heads. When out in the lobby there arose such a clatter, That I sprang from my cube to see what was the matter. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a SUPER PROGRAMMER, oblivious to fear. [NF] TeamViewer alternatives

I bought a TeamViewer (TV) license a few years back and it's the purchased one-and-done lifetime license. TeamViewer's business model has changed and they've been pushing annual licenses now for over a year. I like my TV license and it works great for me; I don't see the need to upgrade to the latest. That said, I wondered if others are using another tool they enjoy and isn't expensive. Prior to TV, I used to use LogMeIn (LMI) but then their licensing prices went up too. What's your current remote support tool of choice (other than UltraVNC etc. I wasn't a fan of VNC as YES, IT WORKED, but it wasn't as easy and user-friendly as TV or LMI. My clients on the other end of the support connection are NOT tech folks. I needed it to be super simple and that's what TV/LMI gave me. tia, --Mike

VFP9 App: Running VFP executable using UNC

My app has always ran from a mapped drive. Pathing was set "Relatively". Worked fine for years. If I create a shortcut pointing to the executable using the UNC it runs but won't open the first table. So I modified the project so that I would use that relative path for that table and it works! Including the opening all the other tables..... Does that make sense?
