[NF] Simple web Design Tool

I have built and maintain a few very simple websites for some one-man businesses and local charities using Front Page 2003. I have now moved over to a Mac with Win 10 on Bootcamp (when it works - Win 10 sucks!) but would like to use a suitable Mac product. I know there are some Mac users out there :-). Can anyone recommend a very simple web design software similar to Front Page, ideally low-cost as I don’t make any money out of these websites. [NF] SQL Server - too many databases?

We are running into an intermittent issue w/ our SQL Server running SQL2016. It's not that our tables are all that large (usually), but our server is trying to manage around 550 different DB's parked on it. Few of the DB's are open at any one time, but the server has to keep track of them at least to some extent. When the problem arises our dev team runs into timeouts and sometimes the problem goes away, some time it doesn't and our IT guys out of desperation restarts the machine. One of our devs suggested that even though we aren't past some theoretical limit on the number of DB's the server can manage, maybe we just have too many and getting rid of most, or at least detaching them, might help. ODBC Driver Question

Hi All I am running a routine which continually repeats a query from an ODBC source to sync some data. There seems to be a problem with the driver that over time the .EXE I have created takes up more and more memory until it goes bang. If I change this to query from a different source requiring a different driver I don’t have an issue (i.e. I’m happy it’s not me 😊 ) I would like to keep the EXE running rather than scheduling it to run close run close etc. As I have a log on the screen showing a visual status of the query and when it was last completed. I am now thinking there must be an easy way to fire off this query in a different datasession or thread so that any problems caused by the ODBC driver are lost after each execution, any brilliant ideas? Coverage profiler

VFP9SP2 on Win7Pro PC I want to see how long it's taking some code to run. Beyond self-created start/stop variables, I thought "why not use the coverage profiler?" MANY years ago, I recall there was some sort of alternative cool tool to the native Coverage Profiler but I can't recall the specifics. Markus Egger comes to mind. I did a search of the ProFox archives for "coverage profile" but found nothing across the entire archive (https://www.screencast.com/t/FF8gEjeK5DeP) I found this in the ProFox downloads area but I haven't used that before (yet): http://leafe.com/download/cvp_1.18.0000_9_20090211.zip. I found this link when searching for Markus Egger Coverage Profiler (http://www.scrigroup.com/calculatoare/tutorials/434/The-Coverage-Profiler33…) but the reference at the end to http://www.eps-software.com/ is a fruitless end as I can't seem to search that site; it just asks you which CoDE site you want to visit. Do any of you have Markus' old CP Analyzer tool or what's your recommendation for analyzing code performance in your VFP code? tia, --Mike

SQL Server Restrict Access property

Hi all I want to be able to query the Restrict Access property (MULTI_USER, SINGLE_USER or RESTRICTED_USER) for a SQL Server database. Does anybody know of a way to do this? Many thanks Paul Newton

recno() function in t-sql

What is the equivalent of therecno() function in t-sql I need to fill a column called recnbr with the record number of each line In VFP it would be: update mytable set recnbr = recno() But since there is no recno() function in t-sql, what would be a replacement? I need to update a sql server table with the number of each record in a field called recnbr In vfp it would be select mytable update reccnbr with recno() What would be the t-sql equivalent of recno() ? IOW, knowing that _there is no_ recno() function in t-sql, what would be the update statement like?
